Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent is an accounting firm

Manny Pacquiao is getting ready for his next fight, and this time it's outside of the ring.
According to Yahoo Sports, Pacquiao has filed a lawsuit against his former accounting firm, VisionQwest. Pacquiao hired them to assist him in reviewing his contracts and money in 2011. A few weeks into the deal, Pacquiao fired VisionQwest.
Pacquiao’s attorney told Yahoo Sports that VisionQwest made “numerous errors" on Pacquiao’s tax returns and that the firm is still in possession of his tax records.
Last year VisionQwest had filed a lawsuit against the fighter for an alleged breach of contract. Since the firm was fired just weeks into their contract, the firm seeks to recover fees that they claim were never paid and a loan the firm says they give Pacquiao.
VisionQwest had started pressuring Top Rank Promotions in order to gain access to Pacquiao’s contracts and other records, before they had been fired.
Pacquiao is now counter-suing his former accounting firm, as he gets ready for his next fight in the ring.
The current WBO welterweight champion has his sight set on his next opponent Timothy Bradley, where Pacquiao is set to defend his title. The June 9 match is Pacquaio’s 60th professional match.
According to the Los Angeles Times, match promoter Bob Arum said that Pacquiao had received an advance on his fight payment in order to pay off a few gambling debts. Pacquiao received as much as $4 million.
