卡内罗 阿瓦雷斯：梅炮战糟蹋了拳击

    近日卡内罗  阿瓦雷斯接受ESPN采访谈到梅炮之战说到：我尊重弗洛伊德 梅威瑟 和康纳 麦格雷戈。但他们的配对是纯表演性质的。这场表演将极大地伤害拳击运动。   
   我想尽力不加评论，因为人们都知道这是一场纯表演，当然我也知道这场表演将会发生什么。我对他们的表演没有兴趣，我喜欢有趣的战斗，而不是他们这种表演。



     

    Three weeks after that bout, on September 16th, Canelo will return to the ring at the very same venue when he faces IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.  The two events will be angling to secure pay-per-view buys from each other.  Mayweather-McGregor will be carried by Showtime Pay-Per-View, while Canelo-Golovkin will be distributed by HBO Pay-Per-View. Canelo's promoter, Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions, has a been a huge critic of the Mayweather-McGregor bout - because he views the contest as an absolute mismatch. McGregor, who is the most popular figure in Mixed Martial Arts, has no professional boxing experience. The oddsmakers have him listed as a massive underdog and very few experts, if anyone, believes he can actually win the fight.  "I have respect for both (Mayweather) in his sport and (McGregor) in his, but this combination is pure show. They are going to hurt boxing a lot with this fight," said Canelo to ESPN Deportes. "I've tried not to comment, because people know it's pure show. I know what's going to happen, and I'm not much of a fan of watching fights like that and especially one like this. I like to see interesting fights, not this."
