Akhmedov's corner seem to be a little anxious and are really pusing him to up the pressure. Sims lands one and Akhmedov lands a better one. Right hook lands for Akhmedov. Sims is standing and trading and Akhmedov has the advantage here with the heavier hands. Right hook lands for Sims. Akhmedov lands a right hook lands. Right hand lead lands for Sims. Counter right lands to the body for Sims. Left gets in upstairs for Akhmedov. Sims throws a left that lands but doesn't make much impact. HARD LEFTS FROM SIMS HURT AKHMEDOV! SIMS ON THE ATTACK BUT THE BELL INTERFERES!

Sims comes out throwing and lands a right hook to the body. Akhmedov thows but misses on a few. Double left comes from Akhmedov. Akhmedov tries to work his left hand in the clinch but ineffectively. Thre right hands lands for Sims from the southpaw stance. Sims has a damaged right eye that is closing quickly. Akhmedov working the body and Sims counters with a right hand. Left hook gets in for Sims now. Akhmedov works the body and lands a left downstairs. Body attack continues for Akhmedov, who has regained some semblance of control after a few scary moments.

Moloney vs Astrolabio - Round 7

I've only given Astrolabio one of the first six rounds, but it's not a runaway, and I won't be shocked if he picked up another early round or two from the official judges.

Astrolabio trying to lead, but Moloney eludes the hooks and uppercuts. Astrolabio gets in a counter here and there, but he can't lead, and he's landing fewer than Moloney is when we do get exchanges. Crowd booing again, but we're a slight slip-up from Moloney away from things turning quickly.
