DOWN GOES TAYLOR LESS THAN A MINUTE INTO THE ROUND AND HE'S HURT! He'll fight on but he's in real trouble here. Taylor just has not looked right all night and now he still looks foggy. He's coming forward and Catterall is looking to get him to walk onto something again. Catterall pops him with another 1-2 and now Taylor ties up. Another left grazes the chin. Taylor fires back but off balance. Catterall willing to mix it. Taylor trying to sit down on shots but wrestles Catterall to the ropes again. His eye's looking bad at this point. Good body shot from Taylor, Catterall fires back with a left up top. Taylor really trying to dig at the body.

Taylor really pressing this round and the crowd are trying to get behind him. But Catterall is just staying patient, staying smart. Physical on the inside again. Taylor again trying to target the body. He's trying to turn the tide with body shots, which honestly is not a bad idea, because he doesn't seem to have a lot else working. Left hand again from Catterall, then an uppercut. More talking from referee McDonnell. Heads clashed hard.

Taylor continues to press hard. I think we should be prepared for the cards to go his way if we get the distance here. To his credit, he's shown a lot of grit on what has not been a good night for him. And he's won a few rounds. But you have to believe the momentum is with Taylor, and to be fair, I think it's genuinely with him at the moment. Catterall isn't having the success he had earlier. You could probably argue Taylor should get a point taken but I doubt we see that. WAIT THERE IT IS! A POINT OFF FOR TAYLOR AFTER THE ROUND!

Can't believe that Marcus McDonnell is the star of the fight. Well, yes I can. I have seen him officiate before. Ward has it 104-102 for Taylor.

About a minute to go and this round is up for grabs. Just been rough and gritty in there. Taylor with a little left up top, and tries to follow up with another. He's pushing Catterall back there and Catterall ties up. That visibly matters to a judge, and it should right now, Catterall not doing anything in return. But then Catterall stands his ground and lands a couple. Taylor charges in with a body shot and pushes Catterall to the ropes.
