梅威瑟扬言：2005年没和库托打成，都是顶级推广公司的错！

近日，对于梅威瑟当年逃避与库托对决的这种言论，梅威瑟对此进行了抨击，那时候两人都升到了超轻量级，都归属于顶级推广公司旗下。现在根据梅威瑟的说法，在2005年他是想与库托一战的，而顶级公司却安排了一个与库托风格“相近”的拳手让梅威瑟试试手，想测试一下如果梅威瑟VS库托开战的话，会打成啥结果。梅威瑟当时的对手，亨利-布鲁塞斯，被梅威瑟全场“牵着鼻子走”，并在第八回合遭KO。

梅威瑟的顾问，兰纳德-艾尔伯这时候插话，他说道：“顶级公司的总裁陶德-杜伯夫一直都反对库托VS梅威瑟，库托是陶德私人的“掌上明珠”，库托是从那些普通拳手中崭露头角，成为明星的，顶级公司永远也不会安排库托与劲敌梅威瑟打上那么一场。
