奥斯卡.德拉.霍亚承诺将他的秘方交给奥提兹以击败梅威瑟！

今天早些时候，金童推广公司主席奥斯卡.德拉.霍亚通过微博向拳迷们透露，他承诺将他的“秘方”交给WBC冠军维克多.奥提兹以击败P4P伟大的拳手弗罗伊德.梅威瑟，值得一提的是，德拉.霍亚曾输给过梅威瑟。
“我与卡斯帝落是最为接近打败梅威瑟的人。相信我，我有秘方，并且我将会交给维克多。”
德拉.霍亚的秘方似乎主要是他经常重复提到的对梅威瑟使用难以对付的刺拳，这就是帮助他在2007年可能是接近打败梅威瑟的策略。
尽管这并不是德拉.霍亚第一次宣称知道一位对手会打败仍保持不败的梅威瑟或提供一些如何去做的小建议，可以肯定的是没有什么东西是难以递交的。

奥提兹获胜的赔率现在是约6比1，以哈顿作为参考，哈顿的赔率是3比1，哈顿在第10个回合被梅威瑟终结。
“我并不是反对梅威瑟，我只是支持处于劣势的一方。”
这应该可能伴随着否认与金童公司签约的都是处于劣势的一方的声明。德拉.霍亚经常表明相信他联合推广的梅威瑟能够打败曼尼.帕奎奥。在那场比赛中，梅威瑟也被列为略有优势的一方。
并不令人吃惊的是，德拉.霍亚也支持大热门、金童推广旗下的拳手阿米尔.卡汗击败扎布.朱达，并且霍亚还经常支持墨西哥明星索尔.阿尔瓦雷兹打败每一个有着明显巨大劣势的对手。
现在弗罗伊德.梅威瑟被提到了，德拉.霍亚的预言可能会被有保留地接受，甚至于尽管在务实地处理他之前的对手的问题时，联合推广梅威瑟的比赛中的一场都有可能会给金童公司带来比独家推广大多数其他拳手所带来的金钱要多得多。

Oscar De La Hoya promises to give Victor Ortiz his formula to beating Mayweather

Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar De La Hoya, speaking to fans through his twitter account earlier today, promised to give WBC champion Victor Ortiz his 'formula' to beating pound for pound great Floyd Mayweather, who it should be noted, De La Hoya lost to.

"Me and Castillo have been the closest in beating Mayweather. Believe me I have the formula which I'm going to pass on to Victor."

De La Hoya's formula seems mainly to be his oft repeated point about using a stiff jab against Mayweather, which was the strategy that helped him to perhaps come the closest to beating Floyd in their record breaking 2007 fight.

Surely then not something that should be that difficult to pass on, although this isn't the first time De La Hoya has claimed to know an opponent would upset still unbeaten Mayweather or given one tips on how to do so.

He at one point picked Shane Mosley to upset Mayweather, although would later refer to the former three weight world champion as a 'heavy bag' before his loss to Manny Pacquiao.

He also picked Juan Manuel Marquez over Mayweather, saying in a blog post for The Ring:

"As long as you use your jab against Mayweather he's lost. He doesn't know how to block a jab. ... Mayweather is not invincible. I truly feel Marquez will expose him."

And before that, picked Ricky Hatton over Mayweather, saying during a press conference:

"I’ve been in there with Floyd. He doesn’t rely on power, he relies on speed. Hatton relies on both speed and power and that is the difference between him and any other fighter Floyd has fought.”

In each case the fighters in question were eventually dominated by Mayweather, and none including Ortiz have the same style or abilities as De La Hoya once did.

Even if De La Hoya hands Ortiz the perfect formula for an upset then, the question then becomes whether or not the young WBC champion can implement it.

The odds against Ortiz winning now stand at around 6 to 1, for reference Ricky Hatton, who was stopped in the tenth by Mayweather, was around a 3 to 1 underdog.

Perhaps clarifying why he always picks against Mayweather, De La Hoya later tweeted:

"I'm not anti-Mayweather I'm just rooting for the underdog"

Which should perhaps come with the disclaimer of being only underdogs signed with Golden Boy. De La Hoya has frequently stated his belief that Mayweather, who he co-promotes, would beat Manny Pacquiao. In that fight Mayweather is also listed as a slight favorite.

De La Hoya also unsurprisingly backed big favorite and GBP fighter Amir Khan to defeat Zab Judah, and regularly backs Mexican star Saul Alvarez against each of his opponents who are of course all huge underdogs.

Where Floyd Mayweather is concerned then, De La Hoya's predictions can probably be taken with a pinch of salt, even though approaching the issue of his former opponent pragmatically, co-promoting one of Mayweather's fights likely makes Golden Boy more money than fully promoting most other fighters.

从拳手转型为推广人，霍亚学会了忽悠，当然这对于推广人来说，宣传造势无可厚非，但作为拳迷，需要理性对待霍老板的海吹。

用不了几个回合，赛前既定的战术等，被小梅威瑟的灵活多变彻底搞乱，开始被动。

不错，我看比赛的发展态势应该就是这个套路。

完全是一厢情愿，不过可以理解，奥提兹毕竟是金童目前的王牌，要靠他挣钱吃饭的

在梅奥之间，霍亚选择支持奥提兹没错，毕竟是旗下新星，但吹牛就有点不应该了。霍梅赛前霍亚还有着名气的优势，有争议的点数多少还沾了点漂亮脸蛋及名气的光，从场面上看，霍亚对阵梅威瑟毫无建树可言。如果真有秘方，当初霍亚早拿出来将梅威瑟给收拾了，哪里还轮得到奥提兹来使。
