Morrell vs Yerbossynuly - Round 4

Aidos opens with a three punch combo, Morrell counters and forces him to retreat. Lot of blood on Aidos now, who isn't doing badly, but may be giving us the clearest evidence yet how special Morrell really is. Wild left misses from Morrell. Two to the body from Aidos. Chest to chest in the middle of the ring, now spaced out and Aidos chases Morrell to the ropes without landing anything clean. Counter right again moves Aidos's head backwards... Fourth or fifth time he's looked like he ought to pop Pez out of his neck. Tough, tough guy, but Morrell just looks way too slick for Aidos so far.

Morrell vs Yerbossynuly - Round 6
Morrell lands a hook on the glove of Aidos, and Aidos staggers back a bit. Not great body language, and the damage may be accumulating. Straight right lands for Morrell, and Aidos whiffs on the return. Morrell on the ropes, Aidos unleashing those signature body hooks, but Morrell covers up and they don't land clean. Morrell responding with his own hooks from both hands in the middle of the ring, and he's landing some of them. Left uppercut sneaks through for Morrell.

Morrell vs Yerbossynuly - Round 8 I'm TAKING OVER! I will be scoring from John's current score! Yerbossynuly trying to start this round aggressively, keep up the attack. Morrell jabbing a little. Slower round in terms of output from both. Doesn't look like Morrell will get his 8th round KO prediction; does look like Yerbossynuly's body work has legitimately slowed Morrell down just a bit. Nice body shot from Morrell late, and I think he was just a bit more active and effective this round. Morrell 10-9, 80-72
