Activity picked up nicely in the third, both are warmed up by now for sure, and looking to do what they want to do. Right hand counter again from Taylor. Serrano lands a body shot. Taylor landing some swinging shots. Serrano trying to close the gap again. Right hand to the body from Taylor. Picking off some Serrano shots. Right hand from Taylor. Serrano with a sharp jab. Good hook from Serrano. Hook back from Taylor. Boy, this is good stuff. Just good, high-level boxing from two of the best on the planet. Serrano jabbing better this round, too. Taylor has a small cut over the eye, it seems.

Let's see if Katie has recovered in the corner, because Serrano had her reeling that round without question. Serrano's going right back at her! Serrano has big confidence now; always did, of course, but now she KNOWS knows what she can do here. Katie's taking punishment still. Landing some shots still but she's being chased around. Taylor still throwing in bunches! Taylor back with a good body shot! Serrano still has her hurt. Taylor being backed down, but STILL THROWING SHOTS BACK! Taylor with good shots again! If she's fighting on instinct, it's a hell of an instinct. Right hook from Serrano. Another clean one, hard and sharp. Taylor still firing back, but her eyes are telling a story. Good shots again from Taylor. GREAT round.

TAYLOR vs SERRANO: Round 8

Taylor is getting more of what she wants again. Serrano not applying the pressure she did in her better rounds. Taylor is picking her off with good shots again. And Serrano's output is not there right now. Taylor controlling the range once again. A lot of people are gonna be mad if this goes how I'm seeing it -- and I could be wrong! -- but Taylor is winning this fight despite the BIGGEST highlights being Serrano's.
