Esparza tries to work a few jabs and then puts a right hand behind it. Now Esparza digs the body with a right hand. Fujioka tries to respond with a few punches of her own but she doesn't seem to have much power. Fujioka gets warned for throwing shots behind the head at close range. Fujioka lands a clean shot upstairs this time.

Esparza wants to counter with the same kind of emphasis and makes contact on a shot of her own. Fujioka continues to come forward and gets into a clinch. Fujioka throwing punches as Esparza defends and then counters with a right hand upstairs, then another. Now Esparza loops a right hand upstairs. Right hand lands clean for Esparza to the head.
