Now Fulton pops Figueroa's head with an uppercut. FIgueroa throws a combination but only makes partial contact on a few of them. FIgueroa continues to throw a large volume of punches as Fulton waits for him to present an opening but now Fulton realizes he's going to have to make his own. Two body shots score for Fulton. Uppercut lands for Fulton on the inside as Figueroa targets the body. Two more short hooks land for Fulton at close range.

Figueroa comes forward behind a couple of awkward punches that don't land. Fulton turns Figueroa and walks him back to the ropes. Right hook from Fulton doesn't land clean. Fulton throws a right hand to the body and tries to incorporate a little more movement along the outside of the ring. Right hand lead lands for Fulton who continues to box this round. Jab lands clean for Fulton, then a right to the body. Double jab comes from Fulton again who then smothers Figueroa once he gets backed to the ropes. Figueroa lands a left hand up top but Fulton gets back to his jab. Right hand lead lands for Fulton. Right hand from Fulton touches the body and head but he gets warned for letting the body shot stray low.

Figueroa needs a stoppage or some knockdowns to win on my card. Fulton's corner want him to box Figueroa in this last round, we'll see if he can pull it off. Figueroa lands a jab and body shot as he chases Fulton to the ropes. Fulton grabs and turns Figueroa to get off the ropes but gets tracked down to the opposite ropes in short order. Both fighters trade shots and Fulton lands a clean uppercut. Figueroa tries to dig the body with two uppercuts. Right hand lead lands for Fulton. Figueroa digs the body with more body shots as he tries to maul Fulton along the ropes. Right hand lead from Fulton picks off Figueroa. Fulton lands a counter and Figueroa leans on him and tries to whack away where he can. Right lands for Fulton. Figueroa lands a jab as he chases Fulton down. Fulton counters down to the body.
