Both fighters are so eager to start the round the referee has to force both of them back from starting too early. Right hand from Hovhannisyan prompts a barrage of punches to follow. Uppercut lands for Nery on the inside, then a straight left. Jab lands clean for Nery at center ring now. Nery circles and lands two more straight shots. Now Hovhannisyan lands a hard right hand and immediately follows it up. Two uppercuts to the body land for Nery. Right hand lands clean for Hovhannisyan. Uppercut lands to the body for Hovhannisyan this time, then a right hand up top again. Nery might've felt those shots as he's retreating. Hard left hands land for Nery off the ropes!  This fight is every bit living up to expectations!

Hovhannisyan wants to start fast but he has another small cut. Nery counters to the body, then sticks a straight left up top. Hovhannisyan hooks and lands a straight right but misses on the left. Hovhannisyan goes back down to the body and lands a jab up top. Crowd chanting 'PANTERA!' Right hook lands to the body of Nery, who fires back with a combination of punches. Hovhannisyan is game and fires back and lands some of his own. Real power punches being landed on both sides.

Both fighters trade and land at center ring. Another left hand lands up top for Nery. Hovhannisyan lands a left of his own. Right hook lands on the inside for Nery. Double left hand lands for Nery. Another left lands for Nery. Right hand lands to the body for Hovhannisyan. Nery throws a combination to the head and body. Both fighters trading to the bell!
