James tries to measure with a jab but Butaev is able to close the distance but miss on a left hand. Right hand lands over the top for Butaev. Butaev goes back to the otrhodox stance where he's had less success in this fight. Now Butaev chases James down while James tries to flash some jabs.  Hard right hand lands for Butaev and James grabs hold. Lead left hook lands clean for Butaev, followed by two more body shots. James looks weak even when he throws back and his face is showing real signs of distress. Stiff jab lands downstairs for Butaev. Double left gets through on James. Nice left to the body lands for Butaev. Another leaping shot lands for Butaev at the bell.

James lands a jab to start the round. A few more long range shots make contact for James but Butaev is completely undeterred from coming forward. Counter jab lands for Butaev. James goes down on a push, showing some weakening legs. Two body shots land hard for Butaev. James bleeding from the mouth and nose pretty good. Left hook makes contact for Butaev. Double left, then a right, then two more lefts land for Butaev and the referee steps in and stops the fight!
