海耶向拳迷道歉 ~

With thousands of British fans having descended on Hamburg over the weekend expecting to see the Londoner become the unified champ, Haye told TalkSport that he was ‘gutted’ he didn’t deliver.

‘Anyone who talks as much as I do and gives it the verbals, if you talk the talk and don’t walk the walk you have to front up and face everybody,’ said Haye. ‘So now I’ve got to take the stick and I’ll accept that.

‘It was a mega event and all my trash talking and the hype got everyone interested in it and I was proud to be part of it.



'I was just gutted I couldn’t produce the goods on the night. I overhyped myself, ** all the big statements, saying I’d knock him out and rip his head off. It’s not the media saying that, it’s me.

‘Boxing is different, it’s not a team sport like football. It’s an individual sport and I needed to sell the fight and to do that I had to do hype myself.

'When I make these bold statements and crass headlines, people tune in to watch. In an ideal world everyone shuts up, turn up and wins. But trash talking sells.

‘I would like to apologise for any fans who travelled across [to Hamburg] and felt short-changed. I let my fans down. When I’ve said these things in the past, nine times out of 10 I’ve backed it up, but this wasn’t my night. I’m gutted, but I gave it my best and did the best I could do.’

“我想道歉，很多拳迷来到[汉堡]，我会很容易的赢得比赛。我让我的拳迷失望。这个夜晚不属于我。但我用心发誓，我做了最好的和能做到的一切。”

其实对他不是很迷，只是重量级需要有挑战才对他有所期望，希望能有泰森样的英雄重新出现，打破这重量级的死水。
海耶一直都被别人骂是大嘴、胆小鬼、玻璃下巴，有时未免过于偏激，大嘴其实就是张场，如果一个人连这一点点的自信都没有那我想他不会成为拳王，有人说出来，有人用行动，其实就是两种不同性格的表现。对于打大克，一个没有做好准备的拳手，用失败证明自己的勇敢吗？如果是智者，我想他应该考虑自己的道路。下巴是要经过磨砺的，每个人都有弱点，弱点只是不足，但他不是一个人的象征。
