host:  One of the greatest middle weight champion all time Marvin Hagler,  Marvin joined us now from the studio in New York,  you are the frequent visitor to the hall of fame, which inducted in 1993,  Marvin, why you return so often to the site of the hall of fame museum?

主持人：永远的中量级最伟大拳王之一马文.哈格勒，现在正通过纽约的播音室与我们交流互动，马文，你在1993年入选拳击名人堂，现在你也是那里的常客，你能告诉我们为什么如此频繁的来往于“拳击名人博物馆”吗？

Hagler:  The resason why I always return is basicly I think this is home,  for the every fighter who reaches the height light, basicly sacrifices five years after you are retried from the boxing world,  it is not every one that has this opportunity to be inducted into boxing hall of fame, for every fighter, that is here,  I think you gotta understand this is our home,  boxing hall of fame give them the recognition, they are known and they are recognized true legends.

哈格勒：之所以经常去，是因为对于那些达到职业生涯顶峰的拳手，“名人堂”就是他们自己的家了，从拳坛退役以后需要花去五年的时间才能入选，而且并不是每一位拳手都有这个资格这个机会入选的，“名人堂”给了那些入选的拳手足够的认可，他们被更多人所熟知，他们被更多人认为是真正的传奇，就因为如此，我们把“拳击名人堂博物馆”当成自己的家园。

host:   Mike Tyson is going into the hall of fame this weekend,  his career was just taking off when your career ended in 1987 after fighting wuth Ray Leonard ,  what is your thought about Mike Tyson entering the hall of fame?

主持人：迈克泰森本周就要加入名人堂了，他的职业生涯起始与1987年，而你在与伦纳德打完之后退役，也是在1987年，那么你对泰森最终入选有什么看法呢？

Hagler:  Frist of all,  I am glad that when I retried, another strong fighter had great presents in the ring and was able to take over and sooner to keep,  I have a sport life in boxing,  I thought it was great thing,  I believe Mike is deserve to be here on Sunday, I believe you will be inducted,  even though the bad thing he went through,  whaterver in my heart,  I always have a softer spot for Mike Tyson,  I still feel that way, regardless what happened outside the ring inside the ring,  outside the ring is also important.

哈格勒：首先我很高兴的是当我退役时候，涌现出一名强大的拳手接过了我的衣钵，并在拳台上取得了辉煌的成功，我对我的拳击生涯还是感到满意的，我相信泰森进入名人堂绝对实至名归，即使泰森曾经有过一段很槽糕的过去，但是我还是认为他最终能入选。不管发生什么事，在我的心里，永远有一块柔软的地方为了泰森而保留。不过话说回来，处理好拳台外的事，这的确是很重要。

host:  You are one of those guys who is never excused sticking around too long,  some people say that Hopings, proving him wrong as a older fighter,  what is the like for you to watch Hopings at age 46 become the oldest fighter ever win the championship?

主持人：很多拳手职业生涯晚期没有找理由继续在拳台混日子，你就是这样的人之一，现在有的人说霍普金斯作为高龄拳手，继续打拳是错误的，在你观看了霍普金斯以拳击历史上最大年龄，夺得轻重量级冠军之后，你有什么感受呢？

Hagler:  Basicly, the way I truly feel,  I feel the organization all come togther and finally realize that a fighter has to learn to stop,  at a certain age,  I think we have to put the man on the safe,  for example,  at thirty-eight,  I think we have to stop this nonsense sentence, who is going to be oldest,  not like Hopings,  somebody wants to be fifty years old to win the title, what you worried about how these effects are going to be when you finish the boxing game,  then where are you going to go? this is all what you have done, all your life,  all they really need to know, all these things are important they got famlies,this is the reason why they take the these gumballs,  I believe that somebody stepped to put the limmit on ages for fighter, they do not try to continue to be George Foreman's record, in which Hopings did to match his record,  it is the same thing for fighters return into boxing after they have retried,  it is very dangerous sport,  boxing it only takes seconds before you lay out, somebody should be protected because we do not really have the brain,  we have the heart, we have all the thing in the world to fight,  that is the only thing we know, we need protection, after we fight,  we need somebody to take care,too.

哈格勒：基本上我是这样想的，我认为拳击组织应该聚到一起讨论一下，最后达成共识，那就是拳手应该学会在某一特定的年龄而退出拳坛，我认为我们应该保护拳击手，举个例子，设定个年龄，比如38岁就退役。我觉得我们应该停止关于“谁是拳击历史上最老的拳王”这样的无聊话题，有人甚至希望自己能在50岁的时候还要赢得拳王头衔（此处暗指霍利菲尔德），我所担心的就是当你完成拳击比赛之后，身体受到的伤害会如何影响到你，那么我们应该怎么做呢？这一切都是你自己造成的，这一点必须要清楚，他们之所以老了还冒险拼拳就是因为他们还要养家，我认为现在必须得有人站出来对拳击比赛的年龄进行限制，就像“霍普金斯破福尔曼的最大年龄记录”这样事不应该做，还有拳手退役之后就不应该再复出，因为拳击是很危险的运动，可能就是那么几个重拳就可以将你击倒不起，那些只有热血没有头脑的拳手必须应该得到保护，在这个世界上，除了拳击，还有很多东西值得去奋斗，这就是我的想法，拳击手需要保护，当他们比赛完走下拳台，还需要有人对他们进行关怀。

host:  What is the thing people love about fight game,  there are four grades fighters who basicly fighting aroud the same way class, yourself and Roberto Duran, Tommy Hearns, Ray Leonard and among you,  you fought nine times, these days we got two guys considered P4P fighter in the world, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao,  no one knows that they ever fighter each other, Mayweather answers this week that he is going to fighte Otis in september,  but what is your thought about this status of boxing since that we have not been able to get these guys togther yet?

主持人：其实观众最爱看什么样的比赛呢？曾经在同一个级别有着四个不同类型的拳手，你还有罗伯特.杜兰，汤米.赫恩斯以及雷.伦纳德，你们之间曾经彼此打过九场比赛。如今拳坛有两位被认为是最好的P4P拳手，梅威瑟以及帕奎奥，没人知道他们两个什么时候能打上一场，梅威瑟已经回应了他会在九月份挑战奥提兹，那么你对梅威瑟与帕奎奥之间比赛没打成的看法是什么呢？

Hagler:  Well,  this is a lot of money now, I believe we are glad to see Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao get it on, I mean,  just think about,  a hundred million dollars a fight, this is no other figter I think in the world boxing history that ever make this kind of money,  I believe that stick this thing on,  it would realy boost our boxing, bing in the level a little bit because that is the thing we need,  it will join in all the titles togther WBC,WBA,IBF,WBO. I mean, come on man,  let us have the box on,  let us bing one champion,  this is the kind of fight we need to see, they are both experienced fighter,  that is really not the dangerous since they will not be hurt becasue they are professional fighters.

哈格勒：那可是一大笔的钱啊，我觉得我们很高兴能看到梅威瑟与帕奎奥两人成功上位，想想吧，一场比赛一亿美元啊，这肯定创造了拳击历史最高酬金的记录了，我们应该积极促成两人的比赛，因为这可以让拳击变得更加繁荣，更上一个台阶，因为这场比赛是我们想要看的，可以把WBC,WBA,IBF,WBO这四大拳击组织联合在一起，打一个统一战，来吧朋友们，让我们把这场拳赛上演吧，让我们最终决出一个冠军，这才是我们期待的比赛，梅威瑟与帕奎奥两人都是经验丰富的职业拳手，因此这场比赛两人不会有什么危险，都不会受伤。

host:  If they end up fighting and perhaps deserve it next spring, what you think will hanppen?

主持人：如果两人能最终确定在明年的春天进行比赛，你估计到时候会发生些什么呢？

Hagler:  You are trying to say which one will win?

哈格勒：你是在问我预测他们两人谁会赢吧！

host:  That is exactly what I am saying, Mr Hagler

主持人：对，这的确就是我想问你的，哈格勒先生。

Hagler:  To be honest,  let me tell you another story,  it is almost like Hagler and Leonard's fight,  he is a guy that wants to dictate to another person,  I want to tell you he wants to do, you know,  I want to dictate to drug test all these things. I think that Pacquiao is right,  if I decide to do, you gotta take one, too.  I mean:  “who are you?  who are you? come on,  if you want to fight, let us fight,  let us stop all the nonsense,  let us show the people out there,  let us give the people what they want to see and they want to see a good fight”.   hopefully that fight will not get hurt,  but the public like this kind of fight,  I think it is great for the boxing.

哈格勒：说句心里话，让我告诉你一个比喻吧，“梅威瑟VS帕奎奥”就像是曾经的“伦纳德VS哈格勒”，梅威瑟是那种喜欢命令别人做事的人，他总是在告诉别人他自己的想法，他就是想把药检等这些事强加给别人，他如果想检查，那么别人就必须陪着他一起检查。我觉得帕奎奥做的没错，帕奎奥一定会这么去想：“梅威瑟你认为自己是谁呀？算老几？来吧，如果你想和我打，那么我们就打，不要继续废话连篇了，我们就在这打一场拳迷都想看到的比赛。”大众舆论要的就是这样的比赛，我认为这对拳击发展有很大的帮助。

host:  You fighters give the public more than what they want,  Marvin Hagler, of couse his hall of fame's career,  Marvin,  thanks so much for joining us,  sounds like you think manny may win.
